Credits pay for writing it, and PDF, EPUB and DOCX downloads need a paid plan, a credit pack or a single-book purchase. New accounts get 50 free credits with no card. Prices are in US dollars, plus any tax at checkout. ## Plans and prices - **Free: $0.** 50 credits when you sign up, no card needed. That is about 2 lead magnets or 1 how-to guide, or 1 coloring book of 12 pages. You can read and edit every book in the app. Not included: PDF, EPUB and DOCX downloads, and Connect AI apps (MCP). - **Starter: $19 a month.** 300 credits every month, about 12 lead magnets or 8 how-to guides, or 4 coloring books of 24 pages. Downloads are kept for books delivered or downloaded during a paid period. Includes Connect AI apps (MCP). Written by the latest AI model. - **Pro: $39 a month.** 900 credits every month, about 36 lead magnets or 25 how-to guides, or 12 coloring books of 24 pages. Downloads are kept for books delivered or downloaded during a paid period. Includes MCP. Written by the latest premium AI model. - **Credit pack: $20 once.** 250 credits, about 10 lead magnets or 7 how-to guides, or 3 coloring books of 24 pages. No subscription. Bought from a book's page, it also pays for that book's PDF, EPUB and DOCX. Includes MCP. - **Single book: $9 once.** One finished book's PDF, EPUB and DOCX, bought from that book's page. No subscription. Read the book in the app before buying its files. ## Credits and expiry - Monthly plan credits expire at the end of each billing period and do not roll over. - Free signup credits, one-time pack credits and previously issued credits do not expire. - Plans renew monthly until you cancel and stay active through the paid period. - If writing fails on our side, the credits it reserved come back automatically. If the book itself stops it (for example, by running past its length limit), or you delete it while it is being written, you pay only for the chapters already written. ## What one book costs Dollar figures are pro rata: a plan's price divided by its credits, times the book's credits. Every plan makes every kind of book. The writing can come out shorter or longer than planned, and the app shows a finished book's exact page count. ## What else credits pay for Each is priced before you confirm it. - Rewriting a passage with AI: 1 credit (6 credits with web research). Accepting or rejecting it is free. - Applying comments: 1 credit a passage. - Web research while writing: +5 credits, once per book. - Regenerating a chapter: 13 credits on a lead magnet, up to 23 on a course companion. - New cover art: 13 to 23 credits for seven new cover options. ## Coloring books Coloring books are priced by the drawn page, from the same credits. - Drawing a page: 3 credits. - Same characters on every page: +1 credit a page, so 4 credits a page. - Redrawing or tweaking a page: 2 credits. - Page counts: 12, 24, 40 or 50 pages to color, one drawing to a page; a plan can be edited to any count from 12 to 50. A 24-page book is 72 credits ($3.12 to $5.76 depending on how you buy credits), or 96 credits with the same characters ($4.16 to $7.68). - The plan, covers and print files cost nothing more. Downloading them needs a plan, or a credit pack bought from the book's page. The Free plan lets you read and edit in the app. **Do my credits expire at the end of the month?** Monthly plan credits do. Free signup credits and one-time pack credits do not. **Which plans include MCP?** Starter, Pro and any credit pack. The Free plan does not. **Can I switch plans or cancel?** Yes. Your plan stays active through the paid period. See the refund policy for details. **What if a book comes out bad?** Edit any passage by hand for free, rewrite one with AI, or regenerate a chapter.
